New Balance continues to mine its archive with the ABZORB 2000, and the latest "Electric Indigo" colourway is one of the most striking releases from the brand this year.
The silhouette draws heavily from early 2000s running shoe design, a period when performance footwear was at its most visually ambitious. Layered mesh panels, aggressive sculpted midsoles and bold colour blocking defined the era, and the ABZORB 2000 channels all of it without tipping into costume.
