James Whitner has spent the better part of a decade turning The Whitaker Group into one of sneaker culture's most respected retail operations. His latest move keeps things democratic: a seven-piece Nike V5 RNR collection that brings all four of the group's retail brands under one project, with every pair priced at $95.

The V5 RNR has quietly become one of Nike's most versatile budget silhouettes, and the Whitaker treatment gives it the kind of identity it doesn't usually get at this price point. A Ma Maniere takes the boldest swings with two colourways, one in silver and one in bronze, both accented with hits of red, grey, and green. They carry the boutique's signature elevated approach, even on a shoe that retails for under a hundred dollars.

JAIDE opts for restraint with two monochrome pairs, lightly tinted in green and pink. The approach suits the brand's quieter aesthetic, letting the shoe's form do the work without heavy colour blocking. Social Status contributes an all-teal pair alongside a white, green, and red combination that carries a bit more visual punch. APB rounds out the seven with a retro-inspired red, white, and blue colourway that feels appropriately straightforward for the brand's audience.

What makes this project interesting isn't any single pair but the coordination. Whitner has historically used Nike collaborations to tell a story, from A Ma Maniere's "While You Were Sleeping" collection to Social Status's community-driven releases. Here, the narrative is about the group itself: four distinct identities, one shared platform, all accessible. At $95, the barrier to entry is lower than almost any collaborative sneaker on the market right now.

Release details are still incoming, with all seven colourways expected to drop later this season through their respective retailers. Keep an eye on each brand's channels for specific dates.
